Hellas Verona's unbeaten run continues against a resolute Udinese
#1. Carnival spirit. With Carnival season approaching, it was in buoyant mood that over 1500 Verona fans made the journey along the Autostrada Serenissima towards Udine. Many were in costume as Verona sought to continue their unbeaten run against a well-organised and physical Udinese side.
#2.Unbeaten in 2020. With this 0-0 draw away to Udinese, Verona's unbeaten run continues. Four wins and four draws in 2020. Nine games unbeaten in total. Although Hellas created a numbest of chances, they weren't at their fluid best and a draw was probably a fair result.
#3. Musso magic. It was once again Udine's Argentinian goalkeeper Juan Musso who was the star of the show for Udinese, with a solid performance and a couple of outstanding saves, including a double save to deny Kumbulla at the end of the first half and another to keep out Zaccagni in the second.
#4. Veloso out. Miguel Veloso picked up a yellow card for a 56th minute foul on De Paul, the Portoguese's 5th booking of the season. The influential midfielder will now serve an automatic one-match ban, meaning he'll miss out against Cagliari at the Bentegodi on Sunday.
#5. Hendo and Tutino shine in Tuscany. Meanwhile in Tuscany, Liam Henderson and Gennaro Tutino were the protagonists in Empoli's 2-1 derby victory against local rivals Pisa. Struggling for match time at Verona, Hendo and Tutino are enjoying a loan spell in Serie B, where they have been key figures in Empoli's four game unbeaten run.
